WoW!! Benny’s Big Time Pizzeria was exactly what we needed on this Sunday afternoon 09/06/2026! Outstanding food, great atmosphere, and wonderful spirits. Nathan was our delightful server, he made our experience especially good, so be sure to ask for him when you visit. We will definitely be back!

This place is truly a gem! The food was absolutely fantastic and delicious every single time we’ve visited. The service is always superb, and the atmosphere is cozy yet so inviting — the kind of place that instantly feels welcoming. Over the years, we’ve made so many wonderful memories here, celebrating countless milestones with family and friends. They even catered our son and daughter-in-law’s baby shower, and everything was amazing! If you’re looking for incredible food and pizza, outstanding service, and a place that feels special, this is it. Highly recommend — 10 out of 10!

Came here after a very good day, a lot of things are starting to go better in my life finally for the first time since March 30th 2026 accident. I brought my family here after some nice lady at the Peak Taproom and Kitchen in Surf City,NC mentioned coming here. I've been meaning to make the trip down so I did, I loaded up the family in the Tesla Therapy Toaster and let Elon drive us down there, he drove around the building I believe what I counted 4 times before I decided to park since people started looking. I planned ahead and had a reservation, they gave me the nicest table in the place, the big round one in the corner. The family sat down and Becca greated us. We looked over the menu and ordered. We wanted a little while for the pizza and pasta to come. Soda was provided via cans and I asked for a glass and Becca hooked me up. The water that provided wad probably the best water I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Food came and was good, not amazing but good. I'll definitely come back. Maybe it's because I just had pizza like 6hrs prior so idk. Becca did say Wendsday is New York style so let's see if they give Vittos a run for their money. All in all I give this a s

We visited Benny’s Big Time Pizzeria in Wilmington, NC on a Saturday around 5:30 PM. It wasn’t full yet, but they did ask if we had reservations. We didn’t, so the only option was seating near the bar—but it actually worked out great for us. Tip: Make reservations ahead of time if you want more flexibility in where you sit. The hostess team was polite and welcoming, and since we were next to the bar, one of the bartenders became our server. She was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and great at making small talk without hovering. Exactly the kind of service that makes a busy restaurant feel comfortable. My wife is gluten‑free and I’m not, so we decided to try their Detroit‑style gluten‑free pizza. I have to say, it’s one of the best gluten‑free pizzas I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The flavor was excellent, and the crispy edges—thanks to the cheese baked into the crust—were incredible. As someone who can eat gluten, this pizza absolutely held its own.
